Eid-el-Fitri: Sustain Spirit of Ramadan, Pray For Unity, Progress- AA Chairman

 

The National Chairman of the Action Alliance (AA), Dr Adekunle Rufai Omoaje, has enjoined Muslims to sustain the lessons of Ramadan till the end of lives, pray for God’s intervention for wisdom for the incoming  administration at all levels.

This is contained in a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen in Kaduna  to felicitate with the Muslim faithful on the Eid-el-Fitr celebration.

He enjoined Muslims to sustain the spirit of sacrifice, perseverance, commitment to God’s activities and enhancement of prayers among other good deeds associated with the month of Ramadan.

Hon. Omoaje  called  on Muslims and other Nigerians to have faith and trust in God as well as believe in Nigeria greatness.

The  AA Chairman further called on the people to continue to pray and strive for the nation’s unity, peace, progress and development as well as insecurity and other challenges.

He tasked wealthy individuals in the society to extend hands of love to the less privileged ones in order to improve on their standard of living and to give them a sense of belonging in the society.

He enjoined political, religion, traditional and community leaders to continue to preach peace and love among their followers.

Nigerians to unite, embrace peace, tolerate one another irrespective of their differences and remain committed to constituted authorities for development to thrive and have a fair society.

He said that Ramadan thought Muslims to imbibe the spirit of patience, tolerance and love, which should be incorporated into the life of every believer.

“Throughout Ramadan, empathy, sympathy and love exist and prevail; now that Ramadan is coming to an end, we should not let it die. Ramadan is going, leaving fasting, mercy and love in our midst. Let us hold it and most importantly, lesson of devotion to the Almighty and humanity,” he added.
