The State Field Manager of ABAE, Aliyu Idris, disclosed this at the annual awards presentation to best performing local government councils, held Saturday at the Command Guest House, Gusau.

Aliyu Idris, said the award was based on the performance of each local government area regarding immunization compliance, equipment, and vaccine supply in their respective areas.

In his remarks, the Executive Secretary, Zamfara State Primary Health Care Development (ZSPHCD), Dr. Hussaini Yakubu Anka, appreciated the performance of the organizers (ABAE) towards improving immunization in the state.

He noted with delight that, New Incentives’ intervention has greatly assisted in improving immunization in the state and believes that, where the ABAE intervenes, there is a wider coverage of immunization as a result of their presence.
