Kebbi State To Adopt Delhi Model Of Government Schools India For Educational Development

Kebbi State, Northwest Nigeria, is to copy Delhi’s Model of Government Schools in India towards improving its primary and secondary school system in the state.

Kebbi State delegation, comprising Commissioner Ministry of Basic Education, Alhaji Hassan Mohammed Shallah and Chairman SUBE Board, Prof. Sulaiman Khalid disclosed this during a study tour of Delhi Model of Government Schools in India.

Receiving the officials, Delhi State Minister of Education and Government of NCT of Delhi, Ms. Atishi Marlena, assured the Kebbi State officials, that she would send a professinal team to guide the education board on how to upgrade their system of education in Kebbi, like Delhi Model Of Government Schools.

 

The Education Minister, Ms. Atishi Marlena, also informed the delegation that she was ready to receive teachers from Kebbi to Delhi to be trained by the best professionals on how best to teach in their schools.

Earlier, the Chairman of State Univesal Basic Education Board, Professor Sulaiman Khalid, had informed the Indian Minister of Education, that the tour was targetted on how to improve their basic education, policies and management of drop out and out of school children.

He said Kebbi State government would be happy to be part of the popular and unique government school model in Delhi, India, which is recognised worldwide.

The visit of the Kebbi delegation was organised by the African Icon Award Winner, Dr. Mehboob Khan of Al-Sadal Services, PVT Limited and Alhaji Mohammad Jazuli of Zumunchi Group from Nigeria

The delegation was handled by the Managing Director Al-Sadal Group Sahil Khan and his Associate.

The Delhi Model of Government Schools is popular in Africa, America, Australia, Canada that adopted the new method of teaching and learning.

The Delegation which was welcomed by Haji Usman, Eng. mehmood Khan, Hafiji Siraj, Arshad Hussain Adbar, Haider Mujeeb among others, was treated to the Indian famous Traditional ceremoney called PAGDI .

The Hon. Commissioner and Chairman were also honoured with Momento by Dr Ashish Chaudhry, Chairman of Akash Group, India.
