President of the Republic of Zambia, Hakainde Hichilema has held a meeting with His Royal Highness, Senior Chief Mwata Kazembe, at Community House, In Lusaka, the Zambian capital.
We reiterated the call for unity and equality and the crucial role our traditional leaders play in our society.
Speaking at the occasion, President Hichilema described traditional rulers as partners in development and will therefore not compete with them but rather have a complimentary partnership.
‘We maintained that we will continue engaging all traditional leaders across the country and give them the respect they deserve.
“Once more. Thank you to His Royal Highness, Senior Chief Mwata Kazembe for the visit at Community House.
“May God bless our traditional leaders”, he concludes.
