The Kanwan Katsina and District Head of Ketare, Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State, Northwest Nigeria, Alhaji Usman Bello Kankara has tasked police constables to be responsible and dedicated to the service of the nation.
Alhaji Usman Bello Kankara gave the charge when the police constables who have just completed their training at the Police College, Kaduna, and are indigenes of his domain, paid him homage.
The Kanwan Katsina who was delighted also commended the female constable from Wawal Kaza community in the district for enlisting and successfully completing the training .
The traditional ruler called on other females from his domain to emulate her in the service of their fatherland.
Alhaji Usman Bello also advised the constables not to relent in furthering their education to enable them progress and build a career in the police force.
Earlier, the leader of the Constables, Rufa’I Usman Ketare who spoke on-behalf of his colleagues, informed the monarch that they have successfully completed their training and were posted back to their respective local government areas of origin as directed by the Inspector General of Police, hence their being in the Area.
Police Constable Rufa’I Usman thanked Kanwan Katsina for his fatherly role, advice and support at all times assuring him that they would work with dedication to duties.
The Divisional Police Officer in Kankara Local Government Area, Supt of Police, Salman Dalhatu who led the constables to the palace, expressed gratitude to Kanwan Katsina for providing them accommodation in Kankara town to enable them discharge their duties effectively .
He lauded the existing cordial working relationship and synergy between the Office of the District Head and Kankara Police Division at all times.
