Outstanding Performance: UN Honours 3 Liberian Female Police Officers In Sudan

Nine UN police officers, currently serving with the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) have received UN medals for their outstanding services in peacekeeping.

Amongst the medalists, there are three Liberian females who are using the Liberian story to show their South Sudanese counterparts the possibility of achieving sustainable peace.

Africa Prime News reports that the medalists are beneficiaries of policing training from UNPOLs who helped train the West African nation’s police force.
