As the downpour continues in the Liberian capital Monrovia, and its environs leading to serious disaster in the District #4 Montserrado County, Representative Hopeful, Michael M. Thomas has sent a Save Our Souls message to the Liberian government to as a matter of urgency, provide food and temporary shelters for the victims in the Garzah Community in Paynesville City.

Some of the flood victims who spoke to Atty. Thomas on Monday July 11, 2022, said the massive flood for over six days has deprived them of leaving their homes to purchase food, work, sell their goods and worst of all cases, the inability of their kids to go to school.

“Since early Thursday morning we can’t leave our homes to buy food, no work, we can’t go to the market to sell and sadly our children aren’t going to school because of the rain. We need help”.

Upon listening to the cry of the flood victims in the district, Atty. Michael Thomas identified immediately with them through his Thomas’ Foundation .

He however spoke of the urgent
need for the disaster management agency  to intervene in the situation as the people of Garzah Community in Soul Clinic deserve better.

“This is an SOS call to the National Government through the Disaster Management Agency, all eminent Residents of District #4, Montserrado County to see reason to quickly intervene because our people deserve better”.

The visit to Garzah Community in Soul Clinic in Paynesville City was part of Atty. Michael M.
