Liberian Minister Welma Sampson Selflessly Electrifies Street To Reduce Criminalities

As part of her personal contributions to her community and to reduce high rate of Criminalities in the Liberia,
Assistant Minister for Labor Standards at the Ministry of Labor, Welma Blaye Sampson has electrified the VOA Junction, a major street,  in Montserrado County District #17 .

Speaking to newsmen on Wednesday July 06, 2022 during the dedication ceremony, Minister Sampson asserted that the initiative was carried-out based on the growing waves of criminalities during the dark hours at the VOA Junction and the need to aid the community.

She added that as resident of the community and government minister, the lack of electricity at the junction poses insecurity for marketers, drivers, motor cyclists, Passerby amongst others.

Minister Sampson urged her fellow government officials to follow suit in serving their people and be an impact to the community they live in buttressing government’s efforts.

For their part, community dwellers, marketers, drivers, passersby and well-wishers lauded Assistant Minister Welma Blaye Sampson for her timely service delivered to them.
