Zambia Restates Commitment To Improving Governance Record- Hichilema

President Hakainde Hichilema has reiterated the commitment of his administration to ensure good governance record through justice delivery.

To this end, the President on Monday sworn in Zambian Ambassadors and High Commissioners , members and officials of Judicial Complaints as well as Human Rights, among others.

The President noted that there are many Zambians who are unduly suffering warning that “the old order of impunity and ineffectiveness must come to an end. Bwangu Bwangu!”.

“This morning at State House, we held a ceremony to swear-in Zambian ambassadors and High Commissioners, members and officials of Judicial Complaints, Anti-Corruption and Human Rights Commissions. We also conferred the status of State Counsel on Hon. Mulambo Haimbe MP and Dr. Henry Bwanga Mbushi.

“The New Dawn Government is committed to improving Zambia’s governance record. This is why we encouraged the officials to work hand in glove with their counterparts in relevant government and institutions so that citizens are well-served.

“We urged the officials to serve all citizens and use their new roles to improve the delivery of justice since there are many Zambians who are unduly suffering. The old order of impunity and ineffectiveness must come to an end. Bwangu Bwangu!”, he concludes.
