Nigeria: El’ rufai Did Not Endorse Anyone For Senatorial Zone — Female Aspirant

The only Female Senatorial Aspirant for Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone under the All Progressive Congress (APC), Hajiya Rabi Salisu Ibrahim said the state governor has not endorsed anybody as Kaduna Senatorial aspirant of the party.

She disclosed this shortly after been endorsed by Serving Councilors
Forum under the Kaduna Central Senatorial zone as their best choice
for the Senate .

She thanked the councilors for finding her worthy of representing the
zone at the National Assembly comes 2023.

According to her, it was emotional to hear most of the good words from the councilor forum members especially on her philanthropic
activities in the area.

She also faulted reports 9n social media that she had step down
from the race because the governor asked his former Commissioner
Budget and Planning, Sani Dattijo to pick the senatorial form for the
same zone.

“The governor has not endorsed anyone for senatorial position . There
were two prominent aspirants for the state governorship race that worked with him and we have others that are not working in the Government House.

“So, the governor settled the two aspirants that worked with him ordering one to vie for governorship and the other for senatorial.

“But I bought my form 11 days before their agreements so I’m the first person to purchase my nomination of interest form and even made several consultations before them. So, I’m the most qualified to represent the zone,” she said.

She therefore called on all the party supporters, particularly the delegates to look at her previous antecedents and integrity by given her the chance
to represent the people being the only female aspirant in the zone.

Hajiya Rabi further stated that she indicated interest to represent the
people of the zone only to protect their interests not for her Personal gains.
