A PDP Presidential Aspirant and Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed has stressed the need for inclusive governance. This is just as he promised to rescue democracy in Nigeria.
Nigerians, he observed, need to understand themselves and their diversity so as to be able to remain as one indivisible nation.
While in the FCT, “Nobody was left out. “We improved our health sectors and built more hospitals, we built much schools for people to encourage those in rural areas and to curb the syndrome of out of school children. There was peace, there was Development.
The Governor disclosed that while serving as Minister of the FCT, he was able to form a government of Unity where nobody was left behind and that made them recorded successes in every sector.
The Presidential Aspirant was addressing PDP delegates in Kaduna ahead of the party’s presidential primaries scheduled to hold this month.
“We respect every individual while serving as the minister of FCT before I became Governor. Equally, I brought everybody from every sector not minding our diversity, and as a result, there was peace and Development during my tenure in FCT.
He said there are lots of jobs in the country that needed to be distributed with every sense of equity and fairness, not minding the difference in religion, ethnicity, region and race if elected President.
He said “Kaduna is my cultural heritage in diversity. I have worked with people from all parts of the country and that gave me the opportunity to travel across the country. Am contesting because We have to rescue our democracy
“We were printing allocations on paper for the sake of equity and justice. We developed the FCT well through monitoring and evaluation. I engaged traditional rulers also for grassroots sustainable Peace and development when I became the Governor of Bauchi state. There is nothing you can do in bauchi that I will not know.” He concluded.
Responding to the visit, the PDP State Chairman, Hyet Hassan said PDP as a party belongs to the people on the ground that they have Nigerians at heart.
In his statement, “Senator Markarfi never left any loan but carried out so many projects, expressed that some Leaders specialize in building while others are demolishing .
“We are jealous of my friend in Bauchi. What he said about respect for the party, he demonstrated it and he will do it, we will keep praying for you.” Hyet added
