Kaduna (Nigeria) Peoples Daily Newspapers has loss a marketing staff, Haruna Musa, in its Kaduna, northern Nigeria office.

According to family sources, Musa passed away on Thursday after a protracted illness (stomach ache) which started on Monday.

“He died on our way to the hospital when he complained of severe stomach ache,” his wife, Habiba said.

On a condolence to his family, Chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kaduna Correspondents Chapel, Garba Muhammad, described the deceased as a dedicated, worthy and hardworking fellow.

Muhammad prayed to God to grant the deceased eternal life and the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

Musa, hails from Nasarawa state, central Nigeria, and is survived by a wife and two children.
