Zulum Presents Six Operational Vehicles As Military Reopens Mafa -Gamboru Road.

Governor  of Borno State, North East Nigeria, Prof Babagana Umara Zulum has presented six operational vehicles to enhance surveillance on Mafa -Dikwa -Gamboru road after its reopening by the Nigerian military on Sunday.
The Governor presented the vehicles after a brief interactive session with the military led by the Theatre Commander, Maj Gen Olusegun Adeniyi.
During the interactive session, Zulum and the Theatre Commander warned transport unions and security personnel to desist from extorting commuters.
 Both assured the business community as well as other commuters plying the road of adequate security.
Turning to the Gamboru fishing community , the Theatre Commamder urged the people to cooperate and share information with the military while carrying out their legitimate business.
 Maj Gen Adeniyi promised that the military was always ready to provide enabling environment for the community to thrive.
He however warned that under no circumstances should the community pay money or any form of assistance or gratification to the Boko haram.
The Theatre Commander thanked the Gov for providing the vehicles and assured him that it would be maximally utilised. The Governor in company of the theatre Commander formally performed the reopening of the road.
