A Federal Lawmaker from Kaduna State, Northwest Nigeria, Yakubu Barde has accused security agents of harassing Kajuru community, just as he also joined the Federal Government of not coming to the aid of the victims of the Crises.

Barde was speaking under matter of importance at the National Assembly on Tuesday when he moved the motion on the incessant killings occurring in his constituency.

He complained that even though some suspects were apprehended when the killings began, no meaningful headway had been recorded in the investigations saying this seems to have emboldened the armed attackers who have turned the attacks to a hobby.

He expressed concern that instead of going after the invaders, citizens of the attacked communities are the ones being harassed by Security Agents.

Barde also decried the lack of Federal Government relief for the affected people.

Another Lawmaker, Garba Shehu expressed worry why there has been no meaningful action from Government to ensure the recurring crisis in Kaduna and other States ceases.

This, he said, is continuing to erode the image of Nigeria as a lawless society where impunity prevails.

Lasun Yussuff expressed frustration that the Nigerian population which is the only seeming quality Nigeria has in great proportions is being threatened by unnecessary and continuous attacks.

Contributing, Fakeye Femi stated that it is sad that there keeps being countless debates on the Floor of the House on incidents like these without any action taken by Government.

He suggested the House put more pressure on the Executive to be more proactive in its approach to the problem.

Sunday Adepoju called for unity of purpose of all Nigerians beyond any divide to tackle the problem head on and find a lasting solution.
