Kaduna (Nigeria) – The Kaduna Exclusive Badminton Club in Northwest Nigeria is to host the maiden edition of the All Nigeria Open Badminton Championship from June 9.

Chairman and Coordinator of the Club, Usman Usman, who said the event will hold from June 9 to June 13, added that the competition will hold at the club house, in Kaduna.

“This event is being staged to hunt for new talents and grassroots players during the championship .

“The theme for the championship is: Host the Nation.“

The Chairman said some 400 players from the 36 states and the FCT are expected to participate in the tournament.

“We are expecting a total of 400 players including active and veterans in the competition”

He further said the competition is sponsored by the Nigeria Aviation Handling Company (NAHCO).
