Nigeria: FTAN Lauds Gov. Sani’s Leadership As He Clocks 55

The Federation of Tourism Association of Nigeria (FTAN), has hailed the exemplary leadership style of the Governor of Kaduna State, Sen. Uba Sani as he clocks 55 years today.

The Association acknowledged the transformative leadership in Kaduna state, since the emergence of Governor Uba Sani in the last 31 months of steering the affairs of the state.

In the congratulatory message jointly signed by the National President of FTAN, DR. Aliyu Badaki and the Kaduna State Coordinator, Tobi Bernard Thomas applauded Governor Sani’s commitment to good governance in the State.

According to the statement which was made available to newsmen in Kaduna on Wednesday, the duo said that Governor Sani’s government in the State has enhanced security, infrastructure and welfare of the citizens.

The FTAN leaders opined that within the space of Governor Sani’s leadership, agriculture, commerce, and investment in the state have been boosted, adding that such performances promoted heritage, art and tourism, earning the State a global recognition.

” As the President of FTAN, I am proud to say that FTAN is behind you. We are committed to partnering with you to promote Kaduna’s rich cultural heritage and tourism potential, and to enhance internal revenue generation through tourism development, and position Kaduna as a top notch tourism hub in Africa,” Badaki explained.

FTAN in the statement urged the Governor to align his tourism policy with the sustainable development goals, and leveraging tourism for economic diversification and job creation.

While offering to collaborate with the Kaduna state government to unlock Kaduna’s tourism potential, FTAN observed that such collaboration would promote cultural heritage and intra-african tourism.
