. . . Says No Plan To Do So Yet
The Kaduna state Chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has debunked announcements making the rounds on the Social Media that the party has concluded plans to commission its State Secretariat within the state metropolis.
ADC disclosed that such an announcement did not originate from the party, but rather from the impostors who are working on the instructions of the enemies of the party in the state.
While debunking what it describes as fake and an illegal announcement in a statement issued and made available to newsmen in Kaduna on Tuesday, the Publicity Secretary of the party, Hon. Alex Tagwai explained that no preparation was made for such activity in the state.
The statement added that, the National Secretariat of the party has denied knowing or being party to the planned commissioning of a state Secretariat in Kaduna, as being speculated by the impostors.
In the statement, Tagwai equally debunked that no Local Organizing Committee (LOC) was even set up by the State Executive Committee and the State Working Committee of the party, as it was contained in the viral announcement.
The statement therefore, cautioned the general public and the members of ADC in Kaduna and beyond to be wary of the announcers, and ignore such announcements, adding that such announcement aimed at causing confusion and heating up the polity, as against the policy of the party. ” These people are only out to destroy the party,” the statement emphasized.
Though, the statement disclosed that the party had already secured a befitting structure
along Unguwar Kanawa/NDA Junction (Zaria-Kaduna Road) which is to be used as the State Secretariat, but date and time for the commissioning are yet to be announced, as it was being speculated by the impostors.
The party further explained that: ” whenever it is time to commission the party’s State Secretariat, the party shall communicate to the general public with the approval of the National Secretariat of the party.
The party therefore called on its members to remain law-abiding and to ensure peaceful coexistence in the state.
“The party will communicate the details to the public upon the approval from the National leadership of our great party,” the statement reads.
