The Chairman, Board of Trustee, Middle Belt Journalists Forum, MBJF Sen. Solomon Ewuga, has expressed profound sadness on the death of the Chairman, Plateau State MBJF, Mr Ezekiel Dontinna.
Mr Dontinna died on Friday morning at the age of 52 years.
In a statement personally signed by him on Saturday 21st June, 2025 Senator Ewuga described the late Mr Dontinna as an outstanding and well-trained journalist.
He recalled the several contributions of the departed journalist and his publication to the promotion of peace and understanding between the Middle Belt Nationalities and members of the public.
Senator Ewuga sympathised with the leadership and members of the Middle Belt Journalists Forum( MBJF ) and the Plateau state Council of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) on the loss of this distinguished member.
He also commiserated with the management and staff of the Nigerian Standard Newspaper as well as the family, friends and colleagues of the late journalist.
Senator Ewuga prayed to Almighty God to forgive the shortcomings of the late Mr Dontinna and rest his soul in peace.
He also prayed to God to console his wife and children.
