The Executive Chairman, Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission RMAFC , Dr Mohammed Bello Shehu says the organisation and the National Space Research and Development Agency NASDRA have entered new partnership towards generating billions of dollars annually, through optimised technology driven tools for Nigeria.
He contended that the partnership was arrived at on Thursday with the launching of the implementation of a presidential initiative on revenue optimisation and digitalisation via space technology, at RMAFC’s head office in Abuja.
The RMAFC’s chairman restated the commitment of the Commission towards modernising the nation’s revenue generation in partnership with the NASDRA and other vital stakeholders.
In a remark, the Director General of NASDRA, Dr Mathew Adepoju stressed the importance of space technology in revenue mobilisation.
He opined that with Artificial intelligence AI, robotics and space innovation, Nigeria as a nation, can generate up to fifty billion dollars annually, at the same time, strengthening national security.
