Beulah Engineering Technology and Innovations Limited (BETAIL) says it is collaborating with the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Kaduna Branch on emerging technology.
The collaboration is coming at a time the Nigerian engineers say they are commited to capacity development in emerging technologies, hence the need for strong collaboration among stakeholders in the industry.
The Managing Director of the company, Engr. David Kevin, during a courtesy and industrial visit of the NSE to the company in Kaduna on Wednesday said the collaboration is towards improving and keeping the practitioners abreast of the latest developments in the industry.
” This collaboration becomes neccessary, considering the trends in the industry, and also to create a platform for the practitioners and other stakeholders as a knowledge base, even for the engineering students, not only within Kaduna, but the country at large,” Engr. Kevin explained.
Kevin who is a fellow of the NSE further explained that the collaboration is to ensure that engineering training and project becomes easy for the enhancement of technologies in Nigeria.
While speaking, the Chairman of NSE, Kaduna Branch, Engr. Arege Samson Bawa, said that professional development is a core objective of the NSE, adding that the strategic partnership is a step in the right direction for national development.
” The collaboration is to ensure that we enhanced the professional training of our members, while the collaboration will also offer us the opportunity to improve the skills of our members professionally and technologically,” Engr. Bawa said.
The Chairman of NSE urged the government to patronise the local manufacturers of technology equipment, adding that such patronage will help the economy of the nation to grow.
