The Kogi State chapter of The New Nigeria Project (TNP) has reiterated its commitment to creating a new Nigeria, where integrity, transparency, and accountability reign supreme.
In his end-of-year message, the State Coordinator of TNP Kogi Chapter, Alhaji Yusuf S. Lokoja, said the movement was determined to bring about meaningful change in the country’s governance and politics.
“We’re not just a political movement, we’re a family,” Alhaji Lokoja said. “We believe in empowering local communities, promoting transparency and accountability, and creating a Nigeria that is just, prosperous, and united.”
The TNP Kogi Chapter has been making waves since its inception in November, with a focus on community development, social empowerment, and grassroots mobilization.
Alhaji Lokoja said the movement’s approach was distinct from traditional Nigerian politics, which has long been dominated by patronage and ethnic divisions.
“We’re building a broad-based coalition that transcends regional and ethnic lines,” he said. “We’re committed to creating a new Nigeria, where every citizen has access to quality education, healthcare, and economic opportunities.”
The TNP Kogi Chapter has called on Nigerians to join the movement and be part of the change they desire.
“We’re just getting started,” Alhaji Lokoja said. “We have a long way to go, but we’re determined to make a difference.”
In a related development, the TNP Kogi Chapter has announced plans to establish a secretariat in Lokoja, which will serve as the movement’s headquarters in the state.
The movement has also called on well-meaning Nigerians to support its efforts to create a new Nigeria.
“We’re open to partnerships and collaborations with individuals and organizations who share our vision,” Alhaji Lokoja said.
