” The state administration has taken on the critical task of upgrading these long-overlooked healthcare facilities,” says Dr. Ahmed Abdullahi, an Adviser to the Governor on Project Monitoring, Implementation, and Results Delivery,

According to him, the central focus of the transformative effort was the General Hospital in Maigana, located in the Soba Local Government Area, which is undergoing a thorough overhaul.

” The ongoing transformation of the General Hospital in Maigana is expected to serve as a model for enhancing the quality of healthcare infrastructure and improving service delivery throughout Kaduna State.

” This ambitious initiative has carefully selected 3 general hospitals from each Senatorial Zone to benefit equitably from the upgrades.

” The following hospitals have been earmarked for this vital project in their respective zones:

” This extensive reconstruction and remodeling initiative was not merely about physical improvements but also equipping these facilities with modern medical technology and resources necessary for delivering high-quality healthcare services.

Adding,” This comprehensive approach is anticipated to significantly enhance patient care and outcomes, ensuring that residents of Kaduna State have access to the medical services they need.

He disclosed that, in the same vein, more Hospitals across other Local government areas are being scheduled for this Remodelling, Reconstruction, and Equipping for improved healthcare across Kaduna State.
