The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the Malala fund is an international non profit organisation funded by Malala Yousafzai, with focus on advocacy for girls education.

Alfi said that the fund was intentional on the calibre, qualification and experience of its workforce, and was pleased to announce the engagement of Nabila Aguele as Chief Executive, Nigeria and Gayatri Patel as Chief of External Affairs.

She said that Aguele has 20 years of experience and is poised to help drive the organisation’s projects for girls forward.

“Welcoming Nabila and Gaytri to the team is a key step towards that future.

“These women are accomplished, passionate, and innovative leaders, who will surely strategically guide team work to improve outcomes for girls’ access to education around the world,” she said.
