Nigeria: Northern Group Lauds Infrastructural Midas Touch Of Tinubu, Umahi’s Stewardship

By Joseph Edegbo

A group, Arewa Advocates For Good Governance has acknowledged the political will of President Bola Tinubu, resulting in the significant milestone in the nation’s infrastructural development.

Addressing a news conference in Kaduna Tuesday, National Chairman of the group, Alhaji Jamilu Mato said the approval of the design for the 1,000 Km Sokoto- Badagry coastal highway and the ongoing Lagos- Calabar coastal highway among others should be applauded by all Nigerians.

The Advocates noted with delight that Tinubu’s commitment to advancing infrastructure development across the nation, will bridge gaps, foster unity and economic growth.

They were of the view that the project, if completed, will transform connectivity across the country’s geo political zones and ease trade across regions. “This historic milestone is a testament to President Tinubu’s visionary leadership and commitment to enhancing Nigeria’s road infrastructure”.

Thumbs up, the Advocates said, should also go to the Minister Of Works, Engr David Umahi whose steadfast dedication and tireless efforts can not be detached from the giant strides in the transformative project. “In less than a year, under Sen. Umahi’s leadership, the Ministry of Works has exemplified excellence and innovation, laying the foundation for sustainable development and progress”, they emphasized.
