Nigeria: Agom Kufana, Dauda Salutes Kaduna Christian Community At Easter

The Agom Kufana in Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Chief Titus Dauda has reminded Christian community in his domain to see Easter as a time of reflections, renewal, and rejoicing in the spirit of unity that binds them together as one people, regardless of their religious, ethnic and political differences.

The traditional ruler also tasked them to embrace diversity as a source of strength and resilience, rather than division or discord.

The charge is contained in his Easter message to his subjects.

“Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed guests, and my good people of Kufana Chiefdom and Kajuru LGA, I wish to congratulate the Christian community on the end of the Lenten season.
As we celebrate this auspicious occasion of Easter, I am reminded of the profound significance of unity, peace, and development in our communities. Easter is a time of reflection, renewal, and rejoicing in the spirit of unity that binds us together as one people, regardless of our differences.

“In the spirit of Easter, let us reaffirm our commitment to fostering harmony and understanding among all members of our society. Let us embrace diversity as a source of strength and resilience, rather than division or discord. Together, let us work tirelessly towards building a future where every individual is valued, respected, and empowered to fulfill their potential.

“Furthermore, as we extend our warmest wishes to our Muslim brothers and sisters observing the sacred month of Ramadan, we recognize the significance of this time of fasting, prayer, and reflection.

” May Allah’s blessings be upon the Muslim Ummah during these last ten days of Ramadan, and may this period of spiritual devotion bring them peace, serenity, and enlightenment. let us remember that the essence of Easter and Ramadan transcends religious boundaries, uniting us in our shared humanity and collective aspirations for a world filled with compassion, justice, and prosperity for all. May this Easter and Ramadan be a time of joy, renewal, and blessings for everyone.
“I wish to finally congratulate the Governor of Kaduna State Sen Uba Sani, for the effort he made in freeing the kuriga school children and pray for God’s protection and wisdom as he govern us all.
