In a statement, the Team Leader of the group, Ibrahima Yakubu, said civil society groups must strengthen their support towards the fight for the anti corruption bodies to succeed.

Mr. Yakubu lauded efforts of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in combatting corrupt practices within the country.

He described as commendable the agencies’ various initiatives aimed at eradicating corruption since the emergence of the current administration of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu.

“We applaud your recent dedication to fighting corruption in the country and pray for your continued success and more victories in the battle against corruption,” Yakubu stated.

He emphasized the need for Nigerians to support the authorities in tackling cyber threats and associated crimes in society.

The leader also reiterated his Group’s support for the EFCC in combating economic and financial crimes in Nigeria.
