President of the Republic of Zambia, Hakainde Hichilema has expressed delight at the continued strong relationship between Zambia and France .
He was speaking on Wednesday in Zambia after welcoming French Secretary of State in charge of Development, La Francophonie and International Partnerships, Madam Chrysoula Zacharopoulou.
“We had a conversation on a wide range of issues including Zambia’s goal to connect our country from Atlantic Ocean to Indian Ocean, via trade corridors like the Lobito Corridor.
“As a friend and trusted partner, we deepened further our enduring bilateral relations with France by signing Declarations of Intent in a number of areas including people-to-people relations and cultural ties.
‘We look forward to continued good relations between our two nations and our peoples”.
