Nigeria: Kanwan Katsina Applauds Appointment Of Lawal Tahiru, General Manager State Radio

The Kanwan Katsina District Head of Ketare, Alhaji Usman Bello Kankara has described the appointment of the new General Manager, Katsina State Radio Alhaji Lawal Attahiru Bakori as meritorious.

A statement by the media aide and Sarkin Labarun Kanwan Katsina, Jamilu Hashimu Gora and made available to newsmen said the appointment is a round peg in a round hole.

Alhaji Usman Bello Kankara added that the appointment is well deserved, considering the vast experience of the new General Manager in journalism.

The statement emphasized that the new General Manager, Attahiru Bakori was a seasoned journalist who began his civil service career in the State Radio .

The Kanwan Katsina commended the State Governor, Mal. Dikko Umar Radda for the appointment noting that it will boost the workers morale to improve productivity of the radio station.

While congratulating the New General Manager, the traditional ruler urged him to use his wealth of experience as a retired director from the state civil service to move the station forward.

The traditional ruler pledged continued support to the Katsina State Radio and the new general manager, hoping that the existing cordial relationship between the District Head office of Ketare and Katsina state radio would be strengthened.
