NGO: FHANI Felicitates Linda, An Exceptional Kaduna Perm. Sec.

No wonder that her office is adorned with specially designed post cards carrying Congratulatory messages, following her appointment as One of the Permanent Secretaries in the Kaduna State civil service.

Mrs Linda Asabat Yakubu, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, has particular qualities of humility and human relations that could hardly be found among colleagues of the same cadre in the ministries.

It was against this Worthy of Note attributes, that many CSOs, NGOs and individuals have continued to identify and acknowledge her recent appointment as Permanent Secretary.

Leading a delegation of the Family Health Advocates In Nigeria Initiative, FHANI, on advocacy visit, Tuesday, the Chairman, Dr. Suleiman Tanko noted with gratitude , Linda’s quick response to issues and guidance during advocacy visits to the Budget and Planning Commission where She had worked.


Dr. Suleiman said the appointment did not come to the Advocacy Working Group as a surprise because the NGO had been praying for that.

The Chairman emphasized that the NGO could not find any appropriate word to say how grateful they are to the Permanent Secretary.
“The success of FHANI can not complete without mentioning You,” said Tanko.
He told the Permanent Secretary to consider FHANI as her home even after retirement.

While thanking FHANI for the felicitation, the Permanent Secretary assured the Advocacy Working Group that her doors were always open saying that issues on environment affects everybody.
“If there is any area you think the Ministry can come in , don’t hesitate . I enjoy working with FHANI, She said.
