Fellow kogites, I want to start by appreciating your resolve, commitment, love and selfless sacrifices towards the realization of a working and better Kogi state by endorsing my candidacy and your overwhelming support for our party, the Social Democratic Party (SDP).
I salute your dedication that is geared towards rescuing the soul of our state from the hands of a tyrant, underperforming government spearheaded by Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello and his cartel of retrogressives. Your efforts towards preventing Yahaya Bello from achieving a third term via his incompetent, tribalistic, media shy and inept Ododo, his cousin, will not go in vain.

This letter will make little sense if I fail to applaud you for surviving untold hardship, intimidation, persecution, poverty and hunger that accompanied the non payment/ Percentage salary scheme of GYB’s government. I want to also use this opportunity to condole the families of those that lost their loved ones due to the negligence, abuse of power and deliberate failure of this government in fulfilling its statutory responsibilities.
As already established, Yahaya Bello is running for a third term to maintain, continue in the subjugation of kogites and to amass public funds for himself in preparation for the fulfillment of his aspiration to displace President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027. It is not hidden that Yahaya Bello is one of the governors that stood against president Tinubu during the primaries and also worked against his party the APC in Kogi central inorder to prevent Tinubu from winning the 2023 election. Even after failing woefully, GYB wants to use kogites money to try again in 2027.
Dear Kogites, by November 11/2023, a perfect opportunity presents itself for you to repay Yahaya Bello and his team of failures for subjecting all of us to years of hardship and strife. Our future and destiny as a people and as a state is in our hands, collectively we have the ability to make sure that people like Yahaya Bello never get to the corridor of power again. We are at a critical time in which Kogi West, East and Central must work as one to ensure the end of the tyrannical reign of GYB that he seeks to achieve through Ododo.
I present myself to selflessly serve you and lead the charge for the rescue of our dear state from the claws of brigands and anti democrats. Fellow kogites, I am urging you all to run for the governorship office through me. In me, kogites will have a governor that will serve them and ensure the realization of their collective dreams and aspirations. Achieving the Kogi dream of equity, justice, unity, peace,progress and development will be easier because we are going to do it together.
This is the perfect time for us to stand shoulder to shoulder as comrades united in the liberation of our people and state. I know the problems cum challenges of our state and above all, I’m well and better equipped to solve them. Unlike Yahaya Bello, Run through me so I will be a governor of the people by the people and for the people.
