The  Federal Government through the National Directorate of Employment, ( NDE) has vowed to liberate the citizens through employment generation and wealth creation.
To this end, 81 youths are being selected from the 27 LGA’S in jigawa state to undergo three months training in various skills such as GSM repairs, electrical work, printing, fashion design,  beads arrangements and computer operations.

The NDE Director General, Mal. Abubakar Nuhu Fikpo, represented by the Jigawa Coordinator, Mal Hadi Mamman stated this while declaring open a training program at the NDE Headquarters in Dutse.

The Director General implored participants in the scheme to pay attention to get the best. ” For those of you that have been enlisted, you need to cooperate with us so that you can be enlightened and equipped with the desired skills.
“The total participants to be involved in this 3 months training are 81 driven across the 27 LGA of the State and each participant would receive a stipend of 5,000 naira per month to argument his transport fare to the place of training.
The National Directorate of Employment NDE was created in 1986 with one of its mandates designed to implement, and coordinate programmes to combat mass unemployment in the country.

The Community Based Training Scheme CBTS under vocational skills development according to him, was designed to fight the scourge of poverty and joblessness.
The unemployment breed poverty, hunger, low self-esteem, depression, frustration, sickness and other threat to the society, he concludes..
