Nigeria: Kano Governor Appoints 116 Additional Aides

The Kano State Governor, Abba Kabiru, has again approved the appointment of 63 Senior Special Assistants (SSAs), 41 Special Assistants (SAs) and 12 Personal Assistants (PAs) to help in running governmental affairs in the state.

This was made known by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretaryr, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, in a statement made available to Journalists on Friday in Kano.

According to the statement, the appointment is part of the governor’s efforts to integrate more capable hands in providing good governance, noting that, top priority in this appointment was given to youths.

Recently, the governor appointed 94 aides who will serve as social media influencers who will serve as his senior special assistants. They were expected to cover actives of Ministeries, Departments and Agencies.
