Job Creation: NDE To train 1,850 Youths on Vocational, Skills Acquisition Nationwide

The National Directorate of Employment ( NDE) will train 1,850 persons mostly youths and women across the 36 state’s in the federation and Abuja on the ratio of fifty participant’s per state, on Vocational and Skills Acquisition in different crafts.

as revealed by the Jigawa state Coordinator, Abdul- Hadi Mamman Daura.

Representing the Director- General of the NDE while declaring open the training of 22 participants of the second phase of Youth Transformation Training Scheme in Technical and Vocational Skills held at the NDE Conference Hall in Dutse said the participants will be recruited and replace the ealier 22 graduated participant’s as to.maintain the initial number of 50 participant’s per state.

According to him, the training duration of this technical trades was under NDE’s Youth Transformation Training Scheme in Technical and Vocational Skills ranging from six months up to 18 months depending on the type of trade selected by each and every participant

The training include Hairdressing/ barbing saloon, fashion design, catering, GSM repairs, Carpentry, auto mech, auto electrical to mention but a few.

” Our doors is always open to those youths that have keen interest in search of jobs to visit any of the state’s NDE Job to register. The registration of training skills is free depending on one’s choice”

The NDE DG enjoined the participants to be punctual with rampt attention during the training for them to acquire professional training on skills of their choice from the team of professional tutors who are here for collective goods.

“As NDE Vocational Skill training apprenticeship I urged you to be serious and to listen attentively to the life skill training that is going to be delivered to you from our team of professionals from our Abuja head office”
