Date:

By Mohammed Suleiman, Dutse

The new Managing Director, Jigawa State Radio (Radio Jigawa) in Northwest Nigeria, Alh. Yusuf Adamu Babura has assumed duty.

Babura was a Commercial Manager Freedom Radio Dutse, and a retired Managerial staff of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Kaduna.

Speaking with Africa Prime News, Alhaji Yusuf Babura, a veteran broadcaster with over thirty years working experience, said his dream for the State Radio, included determination to reposition the station for improved quality service delivery.

” Honestly upon my assumption on duty, I met with a dilapidated radio station which was compounded with voluminous predicaments, but with my little experience, expertise, enthusiasm, commitment, and hard work, we hope to give the station a new outlook in meeting the present time challenges”

Others include, the revamping of Andaza FM of the station back to service, provision and constant maintenance of the station’s utility vehicles for improved service delivery.

He called on staff of the station to be punctual to duty warning that he won’t condone laxity, truancy or lateness to duty by any staff without cogent reason.
