The Kano State House of Assembly has given approval to the Kano State Governor, Engr. Abba Yusuf Kabiru, to appoint 25 additional special advisers (S.As).
The speaker of the House, Rt. Bon Jibril Falgore, read the request letter on the floor of the house during it’s sitting on Monday.
Members delibrated and gave “a yes” nod to the request, noting that, the earlier the request is granted, the earlier changes and development will be seen in the entire state looking at how big the state is.
Earlier, the House held a valedictory session in honour of the late former Speaker, Late Yusuf Abdullahi Falgore, who was described as a great personality and impacted on the lives of people around him.
Late Falgore passed on last Sunday and the house held a special prayer for him, praying also to God to forgive his sins and his soul to rest in peace.
He served as Speaker of the Kano State of Assembly from June 6th, 2011- 20th December.
