Authorities of the Balewa College, Zaria have apologized for misinformation, disclaiming Murtala Yakubu as student of the college.
In the letter of apology addressed to the Chairman, Kogi East Council Forum, Chief (Arc) Gabriel Yakubu Aduku, the Principal, Alhassan Isyaku explained that “after additional investigation of our records, I confirm that Murtala with Registration Number 14667 was a student of the college from 1995 – 1998.
The Principal emphasized that the student did not however sit for WAEC in 1998 in the college, hence the absence of his name in the 1998 WAEC Gazette.
” I apologize for the error and are available should you need further clarification”, the Principal assures the Council.
