Nigeria: Kano Fire Service Rescues Seven In Collapse Structure

The Kano State Fire Service said it has rescued seven people from a collapsed wall at Malan Kato by Sufaye Store in Kano metropolis on Saturday.

The spokesperson of the command, Saminu Yusif Abdullahi, made this known in a statement made available to newsmen on Sunday.

According to Abdullahi, the Fire Service central control room received an emergency call at about 17:43 hrs from Bashir Mansur, who reported the incident.

He explained that on reaching the scene, one side of the wall of a building had collapsed and affected 7 people who were rescued, but with different degrees of injury.

“No live lost at the scene of incident.

“Cause of the incident is under investigation,” the statement noted.
