The Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) has appointed former Minister of State for Health, Arc. (Chief) Gabriel Yakubu Aduku, Amana Ogohi 1 of Attah Igala, as the new Chairman.
He is to lead the Forum for the next three years.
The appointment was confirmed Wednesday by the National Executive Council of the ACF at its National Headquarters, in Kaduna
The Secretary, ACF Leadership Selection Committee, Mallam Bukar Zarma confirmed this to newsmen after its meeting.
The new Chairman took over from Chief Audu Ogbe whose tenure had expired.
Zarma also disclosed the renewal of the tenure of Alhaji Murtala Aliyu Matawallen Gombe, the Secretary General, for a second term of three years.
Wednesday meeting also featured the dissolution of all the twenty one members National Working Committee of the ACF following the expiration of their tenure,
