The Emir of Gumel Alh. Ahmad Mohd Sani has directed District, Village and Ward heads in the Emirate to be security conscious.
The Emir gave the directive during a security meeting held with his council members as well as District, Village and Ward heads.
The secretary of the Emirate Council Alh. Murtala Aliyu who made this known to Africa Prime News shortly after the meeting said the Emir summoned the meeting to review the security situation at the grassroot.level .
He therefore warne them against negligence or failing to report any suspicious act to the Emirate on time for necessary action.
He explained that the Emir thanked the Divisional Police officer (DPO) and other security agents for their prompt action against situation of security concern.
On his part, the Galadiman Gumel, Alh. Usman Maje Mohammed stressed the need for the District, Village and all Ward heads to continue cooperating with security agencies in their respective areas towards having a crime free Emirate.
Alhaji Usman Maje Mohd also called on them to conduct all Friday and daily Mosques prayers for peace and economic development in the Emirate, State and the Nation at large.
