Armed Forces of Liberia Chief of Staff, Major General Prince Johnson III, has stressed the need to conduct drug test for all elected and appointed officials of the Liberian Government.

The call by the AFL Chief of Staff follows the proliferation of narcotic substances resulting in the death of many young people in Liberia.

In a short write-up issued to the host of the OK Morning Rush, a radio programme, Clarence Jackson on Wednesday, April 19,2023, Major General Johnson suggested that individuals who might be tested positive for drugs, should not be allowed to seek elected or appointed positions.

Major General Prince Johnson III, said the recommendation when accepted, would help to reduce the illegal flow of narcotic drugs across the country.
