The Jigawa Sector Command of federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has deployed personnel across the 27 local government of the state to ensure free flow of traffic during the Eid El fitr celebration.

This was contained in a statement signed by the corps public relations officer in the state SRC. Ibrahim Gambo and made available to newsmen in Dutse .

According to the statement, the Sector Commander Jigawa Sector Command, Corps Commander, Ahmed T Mohammed has mobilized and directed the deployment of all its personnel and logistic for patrol, Surveillance and traffic control from 20th -25th April 2023.

Mohammad said that the FRSC in the State will deploy 345 personnel comprises of Officers, Marshals, and 45 Special Marshals as well as 8 patrol vehicles and 3 live supporting ambulances across the State.

“I wish to appeal to all the motorist to obey traffic rules and regulations within the festive period and beyond”.

He added that the FRSC will collaborate with other security agencies and judiciary to prosecute under age drivers and reckless driving.

The commandant then wishes the Muslim faithful accident free and safe Sallah celebrations.
