Nigeria: Group Supports Vulnerables With N1.2m Food Stuffs During Ramadan In Jigawa

A group in Jigawa State, North West Nigeria, Babura Unity Development Forum (BUDEF) has distributed food items worth One Million Two Hundred Thousand Naira, ( N1.2m) as Ramadan Package to at least Two Hundred and Thirty Seven less privileged in Babura town.

The items include, rice, maize, spaghetti, sugar, and Maggi cubes.

Chairman of the Forum, Engr. Abdurrazaq Nakore stated this in an interview with Newsmen in Babura.

He commended members of the Forum and other individuals for their contributions towards the success of the program, which has been an annual event of the Forum in the Holy month of Ramadan.

Engr. Nakore urged the people to utilize the Ramadan period to offer prayers for the peace and economic well-being of the Muslim Ummah.

The Chairman emphasized that the gesture was in addition to other various assistance frequently rendered to the needy by the association.
