Support Gov. AbdulRasaq For Re-Election In Kwara, Group Urges Electorates

A group, under the aegies of Arewa Solidarity Group (ASG), has urged residents of Kwara State to support the All Progressives Congress governorship candidate, AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq, to ensure his victory in Saturday’s election.

The leader of the group, Isa Ahmed, advised Kwara residents not to make the mistake of falling for the unrealistic and deceitful campaign promises of any other contender in the state.

This was contained in a statement signed by the leader of the group and made available to newsmen in Kaduna on Thursday.

The group urged the Kwarans not to make mistake of voting someone who would not improve their lots in the election, while also noting that the governor deserves second term in office going by his performances.

“We urge Kwarans to rally around Gov. AbdulRasaq and return him for a second term in office. We call on public servants in the state to reject the empty promises of other political parties and their candidates in the coming election, the group stated.

The group further explained that the campaign promises of other parties sway the electorate, and that should be rejected by the people.

According to the statement, Gov. AbdulRasaq has performed excellently well and he derseves second term in office.

The group therefore called on the people of Kwara state to come out en-mass and exercise their constitutional right by voting APC at the Saturday election.
