The gale of acceptance of the People’s Democratic Party’s (PDP), gubernatorial candidate, Hon Isa Ashiru by the electorate in Kaduna state is overwhelming and an indicator that the good people of the state are fully ready to vote the PDP and its candidate at the coming gubernatorial election slated for 18th March, 2023.
It is no doubt that Ashiru’s analytical mind, courage, interpersonal skills, integrity and the ability to communicate effectively contribute to his acceptance by residents.
Weighing the leadership qualities so far displayed by all the contenders, political analysts even beyond Kaduna state have concluded that Ashiru is the best man for the job.
Beyond being articulate, Ashiru has also attracted the people of Kaduna state to him, to the extent that even members of opposition parties have clinged to him and are mobilizing support in his favor.
In less than 48 hours to the polls, a high percentage of the members of other political parties are currently in Ashiru’s campaign train, they have confidence in his ability to govern Kaduna well.
It is a demonstration of the confidence that residents have in the PDP that played out at the Presidential and National Assembly elections where PDP as an opposition in the state won all the three senatorial seats.
We can be correct to say Isa Ashiru is on the threshold of history of becoming the next governor of Kaduna State as he is currently enjoying the massive support of the people.
