In its avowed commitment to the promotion of good governance and supportive to progressive ideals in a free democratic environment, forum of the Amalgamation of Deregistered Political Parties of Nigeria, Kaduna State Chapter, has enjoined people of the State to troop out to vote the APC Governorship candidate, Sen. Uba Sani in Saturday’s polls.

Addressing a news conference in Kaduna, Tuesday to announce the declaration for the APC Gubernatorial candidate, the Secretary of the forum, Amb. Matoh Yakubu said before arriving at the endorsement, they consulted widely with their members and network of stakeholders and opinion leaders.
“We appraised them of the clear record of achievement of distinguished Senator Dr. Uba Sani a civil society activist, a crusader for social justice, an award winning (ICPC certified) anti-corruption crusader and a high performing Senator of the federal republic of Nigeria. These wide-ranging consultations provided us the mandate to make the declaration of support in this press conference” Matoh said.

Ambassador Matoh frowned at what he called negative signals from some political parties who had decided to political gimmick called ” Muslim-muslim” ticket pointing out that the phrase was a coinage of opposition in the State.

He stated that the APC only gave voice to their women who have been kept in the backyard for long adding that the combination of Sen. Uba Sani and Dr. Hadiza Balarabe was a strategic strike at the political balance act.
“This political brinkmanship is giving the opposition a night mare because the strategy has provided Kaduna State critical development strides is unprecedented in the annals of the history of Kaduna State”, he emphasized.

Taking a critical look at Uba Sani’s monumental achievements that stands his heads and shoulders high above candidates of other political parties, the forum chronicled his benevolence, human capital and infrastructural development as well as his uncommon representation at the Upper Chamber of the National Assembly.
“The Uba Sani foundation is a source of succor to many and indigent student through its scholarship scheme

“He led the struggle for the reduction of the interest payment on soft loans that he facilitated for Nigerians irrespective of tribe, religion, ethnicity, or social status”

The forum also cited the ranking of Sen. Uba Sani as One of the Three senators with the most progressive Bills in the Upper Chamber.

From the foregoing, the Forum therefore declared their readiness to deploy their team to serve as canvassers, street captains, gate-keepers and anti-rigging squad to help ensure that the party and the candidate emerge victorious in the Governorship election.

The forum used the occasion to
commiserate with the Government and people of the State on the violence that led to the loss of lives in some parts of Zangon Kataf LGA, as well as the people who lost their loved ones and called on the security agencies to fish-out the perpetrators and brin them to justice quickly so that full normalcy could return to the area ahead of Saturday’s elections.

Amb Matoh described members of the amalgamation as key participants in the last two election of 2015 and 2019 who are now riding on their resourcefulness, contact, great mobilization skills across the 23 LGAs to deepening the democratic culture and add flair to service delivery and political leadership.
