Northern group, under the aegies of Advocacy for Good Governance in Nigeria, has averred that the victory of All Progressives Congress (APC) at the last polls, shows that Gov. Bello Matawalle of Zamfara state will win in the coming gubernatorial election.
The group noted that the victory for the president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a sign of victory for APC and its gubernatorial candidate in Zamfara state.
This was made known in a statement made available to newsmenl in Kaduna on Tuesday.
In the statement, the leader of the group, Muhammed Abdullahi congratulated Governor Matawalle for delivering the state to APC.
According to the message, ” Zamfara has much potential as a State, but what the State needs is a good direction so that the it can continue to be seen as one of the viable states in the country.”
” With Gov. Matawalle, Zamfara can get to where its ought to be with determination and commitment of the government and the citizens.”
” With these, we therefore urged the people of Zamfara state to again show their support for Governor Matawalle by electing him for the second time.”
