Governor Inuwa, Others Join Tinubu As He Receives Certificate Of Return As President- Elect

Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya was among eminent leaders and party bigwigs who accompanied the President- Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to receive his Certificate of Return.

The Certificate of Return was presented to the former Lagos State Governor alongside the Vice President- elect, Sen. Kashim Shettima by the INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu at an elaborate ceremony held at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.

In his remarks, Tinubu said the certificate of return symbolizes the country’s collective democratic attainment and even loftier aspirations.

He said it also represents the impending transfer of a most sacred duty and trust from one person to another.

He also called on those that didn’t support his candidature to join hands with him in a common endeavor to pull the nation through.

Recall that Governor Inuwa had earlier in a statement, congratulated the President- Elect and the Vice President- Elect over their victory at the just concluded Presidential Election.

In the congratulatory message, he personally signed, Governor Inuwa said Tinubu’s victory at the polls is a manifestation of his years of personal commitment, sacrifice, tenacity, political experience and service to the nation.

Describing Tinubu as an enigmatic leader and strong pillar with immense influence, Governor Inuwa Yahaya expressed confidence in his acumen and sagacity to unite Nigeria having been building bridges across the length and breadth of the country which has resulted in the historic victory.
