In times like this, desperate politicians are seeking powers from juju men, even to the extent of sacrificing human lives.
In times like this, mallams are continually chanting incantations, so that their people will continue to rule over us at all cost!
In times like this, some religious leaders are having a field day, extorting money from politicians and secretly promising them that they would sway votes in their favor.
In times like this, our Country, Nigeria lies critically ill in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in the hospital.
In times like this, the future survival of our dear children hangs in the balance.
In times like this, we Christians cannot afford to continue to play religious rituals and expect God to hear us!
In times like this, it is not just enough to pray fervently, we must pray aright!
If there is any time for us to truly confess our sins, repent and turn from our evil ways, that time is NOW!
If there is any time to completely surrender our lives and everything that concerns us to God, that time is NOW!
Except we act NOW, any little delay will be VERY COSTLY AND DANGEROUS!
If those who practice African Traditional Religion (ATR) can trust and openly boast about what their juju can do for them, why can’t we Christians do same, and even more?
If there is any time for every believer in Christ to completely go spiritual, that time is NOW!
These are no times for a “one-leg-in, one-leg-out” type of Christianity!
These are times for believers to walk and work IN THE POWER OF THE HOLY GHOST!
These are times to tarry in the secret place of the Most High until we receive the POWER FROM ON HIGH!
Our endless religious rituals have failed us!
I am sick and tired of endless religious practices without the results as seen in the Bible!
Let us all return unto the LORD, our God.
These are not the days for 30 minutes, 60 minutes, two hours or even three hours a day prayer.
These are days to wait upon the LORD until HE sends down His POWER and rains His blessings upon our land.
We must be as desperate as Esther, Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego!
What I say to you, I put it into practice.
These are the days for believers in Christ to beseech their God to openly demonstrate His unusual POWER as HE did in biblical times so that unbelievers will know that of a truth, there is a God in Heaven Who rules over the affairs of men!
These are the days of Elijah!
May our God, whom we have been putting our trust over the years deliver us from the hands of the wicked in Jesus’ name, AMEN
