Criminal Court ‘C’ Judge, Blamo Dixon has issued Liberian Finance Minister, Samuel Tweh five months ultimatum to pay all monies totalling US$820, 822 owed judicial workers.
The Resident Judge of Criminal Court gave a five month ultimatum for Finance Minister Samuel Tweh to restitute over one hundred eighty two thousand, two hundred eighty two U.S. Dollars also deducted from the salary of judges for more than forty months running.
According to Judge Blamo Dixon, Minister Tweah illegally deducted thirty six thousand four hundred-fifty three dollars sixty cents for over forty months.
He called on the Finance Minister to refund said amount, including the monies owed Magistrates, court support staff, as well as bailiffs, messengers, drivers, cooks and cleaners before July 26, 2023.
