Nigeria: New Provost College of Education Billiri Formally Assumes Duty

The College of Education Billiri Thursday 9th February, 2023 gave a rousing welcome to Dr. Bertha Abdu Danja as she formally assumes duty as the substantive Provost of the College.

This development is sequel to the recent approval of her appointment as Provost by the Government of Gombe State.

The Deputy Provost, Dr. Abdulrahman Mohammed Adamu while handing over the mantle of leadership welcomed the Provost and promised to give her all the maximum cooperation needed to move the College to a higher level.

In her speech, the Provost, Dr. Bertha Abdu Danja appreciated Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for finding her worthy of appointment as Provost and promised not to disappoint.
She equally called on staff of the College to give her their maximum support because she believes in team work.

Goodwill messages, were earlier presented by Mr. Robert Danja, her former colleagues from Federal University of Kashere, the COEASU and SSUCOEN Chairmen.

They all appreciated the Governor, eulogised the Provost, as well as wished her a successful tenure while promising to give her all the necessary support.

The Registrar of the College, Mallam Umar Abubakar Muhammad who gave the vote of thanks appreciated everyone who came to witness the historic event and wished them safe journey back to their various destinations.
